The scope of work includes removing loose material in the zero depth and slide tank area, full depth concrete replacement, replacing joint seal, tile replacement and grouting, painting, and associated improvements at Alice T. Virtue Memorial Pool, 1811 Field St. Instructions to bidders: Bids will be on a total sum basis; segregated bids are not acceptable. Plans, specifications, and bid forms may be obtained and inspected at the City of Galena, 101 Green Street, Galena, IL 61036, or at cityofgalena.org under Government/Departments/Engineering/BidDocuments. All contractors who intend to bid must inform the Facilities Manager if they download bid documents so any addenda can be issued. All work must comply with the Department of Labor State of Illinois prevailing wage requirements. Contractors must comply with the Drug Free Workshop Act (Source: P.A. 86-1459). The City of Galena reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informalities in the bidding.
