Granbury ISD is soliciting proposals from qualified electrical contractors to provide a comprehensive lighting upgrade at the James Wann Sports Center (JWSC). The project includes the replacement of all existing interior lighting fixtures with high-efficiency LED fixtures and the replacement of all exterior lighting fixtures that are attached directly to the JWSC building. The intent of this project is to improve lighting quality, increase energy efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, enhance accessibility for future maintenance, and ensure compliance with applicable electrical and building codes. Scope of Work: The awarded contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, engineering, permits, and incidentals necessary to complete the project as described below. 1. Interior and Exterior Lighting Upgrades Provide complete electrical engineering drawings for the project. All drawings shall be prepared and sealed by a licensed professional engineer. Work can be completed between July 6 - July 20th. Remove and replace all existing interior lighting and exterior fixtures within/attached to the James Wann Sports Center and install new LED lighting fixtures. Reconfigure fixture placement in the main gym to ensure future accessibility using a lift. Fixtures shall not be positioned directly over bleachers or in locations that prevent safe and practical maintenance access. All equipment, such as lifts, ladders, etc will be provided by the awarded contractor. Remove and properly dispose of all existing lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, and related materials. Disposal shall comply with all federal, state, and local environmental regulations. The submitted proposal shall include warranty information. A warranty of at least a 5-year parts and labor warranty is recommended. The proposal shall include a project timeline for completion within the July 6 -July 20th timeframe.
