Site work for a civil project in McMechen, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
Work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, operators, supervision, supplies, and materials necessary to install and upgrade the storm sewer system and relocate existing water, sewer, and gas lines in the City of McMechen. Major project features include demolition and relocation of existing utilities; installation of new corrugated storm line with WVDOH wingwall and culverts; installation of a new HDPE sewer line with precast manhole; and reconnection of all existing utilities and service lines to sewer, water, and gas customers. All work is to be performed on City of McMechen property, with physical construction planned between Spring 2026 and Fall 2026. Construction waste material will be disposed of at a landfill. Location: City of McMechen, 911 Marshall Street, McMechen, WV 26040. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. The Ability to enter technical inquiries and questions relating to submission procedures or bonds will be disabled on 22 April 2026.
