Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lynchburg, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The requirement consists of milling existing asphalt pavement, stockpiling the millings, and placing new Hot Mix Asphalt pavement and tack coat for the repaving of River Birch Road leading to the River Birch Campground at the Thomson Causeway Recreation Area. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement and specifications to be provided with the solicitation, and includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the asphalt milling, handling of millings, surface preparation, tack coat application, and placement of new HMA pavement. Location: USACE Thomson Causeway Recreation Area, River Birch Road, 11041 Thomson Causeway Road, Thomson, IL 61285. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. The Contractors total contract duration will be 45 calendar days. All work should be completed and the road considered usable by May 1st, 2026.
