The City of Hattiesburg is seeking a Mississippi State Board of Contractors license with a Mechanical/HVAC classification for the provision of HVAC installation, repair, and replacement services for residential projects funded in part by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The purpose is to establish a list of licensed contractors who meet all state and federal requirements to perform HVAC services in compliance with Mississippi law, HUD guidelines, and applicable building codes. The selected applicants will be part of a pool of contractors to provide these services for residential structures. Each proposal must be received in a sealed envelope marked as required. The Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. Detailed specifications are available at the Office of the Clerk, and technical assistance is available for interested parties.
