Any questions regarding website registration and online orders should be directed to plan house at (601) 336-6378. 1.01 General Description: The work includes renovation to Building 1471 as shown on the drawings and specifications, consisting of selective demolition, site work, new metal building structure, roof, interior partitions, finishes, fire sprinkler, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems. PART II - DESCRIPTION OF BID ITEMS: 2.01 Base Bid: All labor, materials, services and equipment necessary for the completion of the work for Building 1471 and Site work as indicated in the plans and specifications and other contract documents for the sum of: 2.02 Additive Alternate No. 1: All labor, materials, services and equipment necessary for the completion of the work Aluminum canopy connecting to the existing wood canopy at Building 1472. 2.03 Additive Alternate No. 2: All labor, materials, services and equipment necessary for the completion of the work for all gutters, downspouts, cast iron downspout boots, all 4" PVC, all 6" PVC lines and all 12" PVC lines for downspout drains on Building 1471 (all piping required for catch basins to be in base bid) and specifications and other contract documents for the sum of: PART III - GENERAL: 3.01 - The Owner reserves the right to accept any/or all Bid Items and to make award based upon the lowest and best overall Base Bid and/or any combination of the Bid Items in order to provide the Owner flexibility to award the contract within funding available. 3.02 - Unit Prices shall be used in determining additions to or deductions from the contract amount when authorized changes are directed in the work as shown or specified in the original contract drawings and documents. They will apply only when such changes involve materials, specifications, methods, and designs of the same as those required in like work shown and/or specified. They will not be applied to changes requiring the use of materials, specifications, or design of different character from those approved for general use under the contract as originally drawn. Unit Prices shall include the furnishing of all labor and materials, complete in place, unless otherwise noted. 3.03 - Immediately after award of the contract, or as soon thereafter as the Owner has made decision on which, if any, alternates will be selected, thoroughly and clearly advise all necessary personnel and suppliers as to the nature and extent of alternates selected by the Owner. Use all means necessary to alert those personnel and suppliers involved as to all changes in the work caused by the Owner's selection or rejection of alternates.
