Spring Lake Township is accepting bids for road blading and other miscellaneous road maintenance and construction. The Township maintains 16.5 miles of gravel road and 39.22 miles of bituminous road. Bids should include hourly rates for the contract period from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2029. Bids must contain: 1) a schedule of available equipment for blading roads with applicable hourly rates, with a minimum requirement of a road grader of at least 150 horse power with a shouldering reclaiming disc; 2) a schedule of available equipment for hauling gravel, specifying load capacity and applicable hourly rates; and 3) a schedule of available equipment for rebuilding, repair, and necessary road construction with applicable hourly rates. All bids must include a copy of the certificate of insurance showing current worker's compensation coverage and a general liability policy with an aggregate limit of at least $1,500,000.
