The work includes excavation, grading, concrete shared use paths and sidewalks, stormwater inlet and piping, pedestrian signal crossing, pavement marking, seeding/strawing, and other related construction. This bid contains two separate shared use path projects and will be awarded to a single bidder based on the lowest combined bid for both projects. All labor must be paid at or above the prevailing hourly wage rate as determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations or state wage rate, whichever is higher. All bidders must be on MoDOT's Qualified Contractor List, with the contractor questionnaire filed 7 days before bid opening. Contractors and subcontractors must ensure their on-site employees complete a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program or an approved equivalent within 60 days of beginning work. A certified or cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% must be submitted with each proposal. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. No 2nd tier subcontracting is allowed on this project. QA date - 3-17-2026 The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening Hard copies (plus an electronic copy if requested) of the plans and specifications may be purchased for a non-refundable payment of $110.00 from the office of the City Clerk at 215 N. West St., Perryville, MO 63775. The charge for only an electronic copy of the plans and specificaitons is a non-refundable payment of $35.00. The purchase of the plans and specifications shall effectively establish each plan holder as a registered bidder for this project for receipt of all bidder correspondence and addenda.
