Meade School District 46-1 is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide custodial services for Piedmont Valley Elementary. Sealed bids for furnishing the described services will be received until 2:30 pm (MDT) on Thursday, March 26, 2026, and opened in public at the District Office. Bids must be labeled "Custodial Services RFP # 26B" and delivered to Meade School District 46-1, Attn: Brett Burditt, Business Manager, 1230 Douglas Street, Sturgis, South Dakota 57785. The initial contract period is 24 months, starting July 1, 2026 and continuing to June 30, 2028, with an annual contract adjustment based on the State of South Dakota Funding formula. The district has the option to extend the contract for an additional 12 months based on satisfactory contractor performance. Contractors have until 2:00 pm (MDT) on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 to make inquiries. A pre-proposal meeting and facility tour for interested bidders is strongly recommended and will take place at Piedmont Valley Elementary School.
