Sealed bids are requested for furnishing all equipment, labor, and materials according to specifications and performing all incidental work for the Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS III-P) at Sisseton Municipal Airport, Sisseton, South Dakota. Bid Schedule A - CSPP & Electrical: Mobilization, Construction Safety Phasing Plan, 2 Acre of Seeding and Fertilizing, Temporary Phasing Work, Electrical work including Demolition, GA Terminal / SRE Building Work, Vault Building Work, installation of various sizes of cable (900 Ft of 1/C No. 4 Cu AWG, 900 Ft of 1/C No. 10 Cu AWG, 400 Ft of 1/C No. 6 Cu AWG (GND), 400 Ft of 1/C No. 12 Cu AWG (GND)), removal and disposal of existing cable, abandonment of existing conduit, 400 Ft of Trenching & Backfilling or Plowing for Conduit, 400 Ft of Non-Encased, Electrical Conduit, 3 Cable Markers, Core Drill & Seal for New Conduit into Existing Concrete Encased (4-Inch) Metal Electrical Junction Box, 2 L-867B (12"), Class 1A, Electrical Junction Box with Flat Etched Steel Cover, and other related construction items. Bid Schedule B - Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS III-P): Mobilization, AWOS III-P System complete and commissioned, and other related construction items. Copies of plans and specifications may be inspected at the Office of the City of Sisseton or at the office of Helms and Associates in Aberdeen, SD, and obtained upon payment of the required fee, or downloaded after registration. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of 5% of the total bid or a 10% bid bond. Payment and performance bonds for 100% of the contract amount are required. Work must commence within ten days of the "Notice to Proceed" and be completed within the specified time. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, applicable Federal Labor Laws, minimum wage rates, and affirmative action requirements for contracts of $10,000 or more. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, and accept or reject any items unless the bid is qualified by limitation. Bidders and subcontractors must certify compliance regarding debarment, suspension, ineligibility, voluntary exclusion, foreign trade restrictions, and Buy American provisions. for furnishing all equipment, labor, and materials as set forth in the specifications and performing all work, incidental thereto for Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS III-P), Sisseton Municipal Airport, Sisseton, South Dakota. This work includes Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS III-P) equipment, conduit, power cabling, trenching and backfilling, site grading, topsoiling, seeding, and other items of related construction. Question Deadline 04/03/2026 Bidder who discovers discrepancies or omissions with the project bid documents shall immediately notify the Owner's Engineer of the matter Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or draft in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid, and drawn on a solvent State or National Bank, or a ten percent (10%) Bid Bond issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota and payable to the City of Sisseton, South Dakota.
