Remodeling of a sidewalk / parking lot in Crescent City, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment required to complete the Lighthouse Cove - Public Restroom Remodel Project per the plans and specifications. Contractors must be licensed as a (B) General Contractor by the California Contractors State License Board. Bidders must correctly prepare and submit the documents listed in Section 00 40 00, Bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty bond, or a certified or cashier's check, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid as a guaranty that the bidder will execute the contract if awarded. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. At the successful Bidder's option, securities may be substituted for the required retention. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal or awarded a contract unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. Bidders must comply with all applicable governmental and local agency requirements. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, or delete items listed in the bid. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. No bidder may withdraw a bid after the deadline or before the award and execution of the contract, unless the award is delayed by more than ninety calendar days.
