Renovation of a mixed-use development in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Design-Build services are required to design and install perimeter security hardening for the Capital Region Readiness Center (CRRC), a mission-critical facility located on the VA Medical Center campus in Martinsburg, WV. Work includes providing all resources necessary for full design and construction in accordance with the VA Physical Security and Resiliency Design Manual and VA Technical Information Library requirements. Responsibilities include site verification such as surveying and underground utility location, along with the design and installation of fencing, a guard gate, bollards, and other physical security features. The Design-Build Contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and installation services needed to complete the requirements of the Statement of Work. Location: Capital Region Readiness Center, VA Medical Center Campus, 510 Butler Avenue, Martinsburg, WV 25405 The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
