Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Louisville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Louisville Zoo is seeking to obtain bids from qualified companies for the removal and replacement of granulated activated carbon for three Neptune Benson Filter vessels model 60SRF-4. Question Deadline 03/19/2026 at 3:00 PM ET Questions will be received at online. SUMMARY: _ Removal and replacement of ~ 235 cu. ft. of granulated activated carbon for (3) Neptune Benson Filter vessels model # 60SRF-4, per supplied filter media specifications _ ft. of "pea gravel (1/4" x 1/8") will be added to filter vessels to support under drains and laterals, prior to install of GAC media _ Replacement of under drain header and laterals for the three filter vessels specified above. _ Replacement of filter man way and inspection hatch gaskets for the three filter vessels specified above. Off- Site disposal of all media extracted from filter vessels FILTERS LOCATION All filters are located outdoors in the Glacier Run Life Support Equipment Yard, located at street level.
