SOLICITATION TITLE: MTA Non-Revenue Vehicle Fleet Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Preliminary Design to Support Fleet Transition to Zero Emission Vehicles (FEDERAL) DESCRIPTION: MTA Construction & Development (MTA C&D) seeks to engage services of a general engineering consultant to provide electric vehicle charging infrastructure planning, engineering and design services that will support the agency’s transition toward a zero-emission non-revenue vehicle fleet. FUNDING: 100% Capital Est $ Range: $1M - $5M Goals: N/A *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Contract Term: 8 Months This infrastructure is funded in part by Title 15 of the Environmental Protection Fund through the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. This project will include the furnishment and installation of two new EV Charging Stations for the City of Kingston, at 2-10 Broadway, in a municipally owned section of a public parking lot. The Project Manager for this work is the City’s Sustainability Project Manager, Julie Noble, in collaboration with Parks and Recreation and DPW staff as appropriate. The objective of this RFB is the successful installation of two DC Fast Charging Electric Vehicle Charging Stations on public property for public use. All questions to be answered in the Addendum must be submitted in writing via email to Julie Noble, no later than Wednesday, March 25th , 2026, at 5pm. The City of Kingston expressly reserves the right to accept any proposal or to reject any and all bids, and to award as the interest of the City may appear to require. Method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
