Renovation of an industrial development in Penfield, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a industrial development.
Furnish the Town of Penfield with metal roof installation at the Whalen Road Barn in accordance with specifications prepared by the Director of Public Works. Sealed proposals are to be received in the office of the Town Clerk and opened publicly. The Town of Penfield Department of Public Works is hereby seeking a qualified contractor to install a new metal roofing system at Whalen Road Barn in the Town of Penfield. The area to receive the new roofing system is approximately 2,680 square feet. The purpose of this project is to provide a durable, weather-resistant, and long-lasting roofing system that will protect the structure from the elements while improving overall performance and appearance. The work involved shall include, but not be limited to, the removal and proper disposal of existing roofing materials; repair or replacement of any deteriorated substrate as needed; installation of underlayment, flashing, trim, and associated components; and the installation of a new metal roofing system in accordance with manufacturer specifications and applicable building codes. The completed work shall restore the roof to a safe, watertight, and like-new condition. All materials, equipment, labor, and supplies necessary for the associated work shall be provided by the contractor.
