Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in St Charles, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a 3,200-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.
Summary of work includes excavation, form and pour 3,200 sq. ft. of 5-inch concrete on compacted stone base, reinforced with #10 wire mesh. Only bids in compliance with the provisions of the specifications will be considered. Bid Description (Base Bid): The proposed work consists of the 2026 Otter Cove Aquatic Park Concrete Flatwork services. The Base Bid amountshould include: o Excavate, form and pour 3200sq.ft of 5" pool deck with 6.5 bag mix concrete @4500 PSI o Compacted stone base reinforced with #10 wire mesh o Concrete should have a light broom finish with tooled control joints o New concrete be doweled to existing slabs 30" on center with #4 rebar o Spoils hauled by contractor to another Park District owned location within 1.5 mile of site o Existing storm structure in area of work to be raised by contractor o Material hauled in and out by power buggy on plywood (plywood provided by Park District) o Utility locates within fenced in aquatic park provided by owner o Bid bond and insurance Should Bidder find any discrepancies in or omissions from any of the documents, or be in doubt as to their meanings, he orshe shall advise the Superintendent of Parks and Planning, Laura Rudow, in writing at lrudow@stcparks.org.
