The City of St. Charles ("City") is requesting bids from qualified contractors for removal, repairing, and reinstalling the bridge railing on the north and south sides of the Red Gate Bridge. Alternate Bid consists of replacing the bridge railing on the north and south sides of the Red Gate bridge over the St Charles River, repair of various section of existing guardrail, maintenance of traffic, pavement markings, and any collateral work necessary to complete the project. Anticipated Notice to proceed: June 2, 2026. Completion Dates: Substantial completion by 11:59 PM on November 25, 2026. Final completion by 11:59 PM on November 30, 2026.
