Renovation of a power facility in Osawatomie, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
Question Deadline 03/21/2026 Requests for clarifications and interpretations of the Construction Contract Documents (Technical Specifications and Drawings) shall be presented to the Project Architect/Engineer in writing at least ten (10) days prior to the date on which bids are to be opened. The Secretary, Department of Administration requests bids for construction for the Osawatomie State Hospital Power Plant Summer Boiler and Combustion Air Modifications (BLDG NO.: 49400-00021) at Osawatomie, Kansas. The contract award will be for the project as a whole, including all work for total construction. Bids must be received by the Office of Procurement and Contracts, Department of Administration at Suite 451S, 900 S.W. Jackson Street, Topeka, Kansas 66612 or submitted via email to procurement@ks.gov by the specified closing date and time. All bids will be publicly read as needed via telecom, Microsoft Teams, or in the lobby of the Office of Procurement. All parties interested in obtaining bid documents are responsible for registering on the GeoCivix website. Bidders can view and download the documents or have them sent to a printing company. Bidders are responsible for the cost of printing. Only registered parties will receive issued Addendums. Upon award, the contractor will be provided up to three printed sets of bid documents, for which they are responsible for pickup or shipping costs. All bidders must understand the full scope of work covered by the bid documents. Questions concerning the bidding process, contract, insurances, or bonds should be addressed to the Office of Procurement and Contracts. Questions concerning construction contract documents should be addressed to the Design Team at Benesch. Bid results are available through the Kansas Open Records Act or after posting by the Office of Facilities and Property Management.
