Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Carrabassett Valley, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
The project involves the reconstruction of Runway 17-35 at Sugarloaf Regional Airport. The runway, which is currently 2,797 feet long and 75 feet wide, will maintain its length but will be narrowed to 60 feet wide. Work will include new runway pavement and base material, pavement markings, installation of unlighted airfield signs, safety area regrading, underdrain installation, topsoiling, and seeding. Bids must be submitted on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Worksheet. Each bidder must submit security in the amount of 5% of the bid, in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the General Provisions. Attention is called to employment conditions and minimum wage rates which must be observed under the Contract. The contractor must comply with equal employment opportunity requirements and the DBE Program. PROJECT NO.3-23-0013-XXX-2026(Construct) All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted by email to ssheppard@hoyletanner.com, to be given consideration, and must be received by 5:00 PM local time on March 18, 2026.
