Site work and paving for a road / highway in Onanole, Manitoba. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway.
The Municipality wishes to rehabilitate approximately 20,395.13 m2 of road top within the Municipality by applying an asphalt lift. The current surface is showing severe signs of wear, inhibiting staff from performing proper road maintenance, and providing an unpleasant experience for vehicular drivers. Each site will have a prepared sub-base, and the only work expected to be performed by the Contractor to the sub-base will be shaping and compacting prior to applying the asphalt. Contractors are encouraged to contact the Public Works Foreman, Cody Cameron to arrange for a site visit prior to submitting a bid. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. Start date is flexible; however, the project must be completed prior to October 1st, 2026. Deadline for submitting the intent 2026-03-20 14:00:00 EDT
