The new Hobbton High School is a modern, two-story facility designed to support flexible, collaborative learning and meet the evolving needs of Sampson County Schools. Located on undeveloped land across from the existing high school, the building will feature durable masonry and steel construction, energy-efficient glazing, and a secure single point of entry. Academic spaces are organized around a central Learning Commons with a media center and collaborative zones. Core classrooms are primarily on the second floor, while the first floor houses CTE labs, resource rooms, and student support areas. The west wing includes a full-size gymnasium with seating for 700, locker rooms, and a versatile multipurpose auditorium that supports both performances and athletic use. Performing arts spaces—band, chorus, and theater—are directly connected to this wing.
