The City of Three Way invites sealed bids from qualified companies interested in providing paving services in support of the City's street maintenance efforts. The contractor selected will be responsible for milling as needed and preparing, grading, leveling, cleaning, tacking, and placing a hot mix asphalt surface overlay on streets in the City of Three Way. The scope of work includes an approximate pavement area of 22,080 square yards and requires traffic control, associated vegetation removal, clearing, cleaning, grading, any necessary saw cutting, subgrade preparation, base installation, and related activities. Bidders must place their bid in a sealed envelope with a bid bond and proofs of insurance, and mark the envelope with the bidder's name, license number, expiration date, and the relevant classification. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond. Installation must meet TDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. The work must be commenced within fifteen days of receiving the Notice to Proceed and completed within ninety calendar days. The work shall have a one-year warranty secured by a bond.
