INSTALL APPROXIMATELY 1,785 FEET OF 6 FOOT BLACK VINYL CHAIN LINK FENCE WITH POSTS SET IN CONCRETE. (The contractor is responsible for basing the bid on their measurements.) The City of Three Way reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or waive any informality, for any reason at its sole discretion, and reserves the right to award said bid to any responsible bidder. Bids shall be placed in an envelope which is sealed, and which clearly states the name of the bidder, the date of the bid opening, and appropriate wording to indicate definitely the nature of the contents. The City of Three Way reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to make further calls for bids, in its sole discretion. No bidder may withdraw his or her bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, unless the award of contract is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) days. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER The successful bidder shall enter into a contract with the City. The City will prepare the contract for review by the successful bidder. A duly authorized official of the bidding firm must sign the bid. The successful bidder shall be prohibited from assigning or subcontracting the whole or any part of the contract without the prior written consent of the City of Three Way. Work shall be completed according to the proposed timeline. All prices quoted must be for a period of thirty (30) days following the opening of the bid. All costs, including travel expenses, incurred in the preparation of this bid shall be borne solely by the bidding entity. The successful bidder shall work closely with City Officials with final approval of the contract and plans subject to approval by the City Council. The City of Three Way reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof. The right is reserved to waive any formalities or information contained in any bid, and to award the bid to the most responsive and responsible entity as deemed in the best interest of the City. All bids and any material supplied therewith shall become the property of the City of Three Way. Late, emailed, and faxed proposals will not be accepted.
