Site work for a water / sewer project in Middle Township, New Jersey. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Contract work consists of beach nourishment along the Atlantic Ocean coastline from Townsends Inlet to Cape May Inlet in Cape May County, New Jersey. The base bid includes placement of approximately 400,000 to 600,000 cubic yards of beachfill along about 6,300 linear feet of oceanfront in the Borough of Avalon and approximately 200,000 to 400,000 cubic yards of beachfill along about 14,100 linear feet of oceanfront in the Borough of Stone Harbor. The contract may also include up to six options to place additional beachfill. Options 1, 2, and 3 provide for placement of 50,000, 100,000, and 200,000 cubic yards, respectively, in locations within and outside the base bid areas in Avalon. Options 4, 5, and 6 provide for placement of 50,000, 100,000, and 200,000 cubic yards, respectively, in locations within and outside the base bid areas in Stone Harbor. In addition to beachfill placement, the work may include construction or repair of pedestrian, vehicle, and handicap-accessible dune crossovers. All beachfill material must be obtained from authorized borrow areas identified on the contract drawings, located adjacent to the project in the vicinity of Townsends Inlet and Hereford Inlet. The period of performance is 107 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
