The project is for Construction Manager at Risk services for the Central Recreation Center Expansion. The scope includes: Scope A and B, which cover smoke, fire, and water damage remediation in the gym and pool area due to a fire during the last construction project. This involves demolishing and replacing damaged new construction and completing the prior project's incomplete work. Scope C encompasses new work such as construction of handicap accessibility features and continuation of interior improvements. The Construction Manager at Risk must also assess the need for separate bid packages to best serve the City's economic interests. City-retained architects and engineers will continue to provide construction documents, advice, and customary administration activities throughout the project. Design criteria documents and construction drawings/specifications dated 6/27/2025 define the complete scope of work and services.
