The City of Petal, Mississippi requests proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services related to the implementation of State of Mississippi Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) project(s). The Engineer will be responsible for performing all engineering services through project closeout in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. The scope of work includes preparing a facility plan for proposed DWSRF loan applications, preparing plans and specifications, distributing bid documents, assisting in bid opening and preparing bid tabulation, assisting in the execution of construction contracts, holding a pre-construction conference, and performing construction engineering and inspection including periodic reports and approval of payment requests. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Proposal for DWSRF Engineering Services." Proposals will be evaluated on qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance. Qualifications should include a list of persons to be assigned to the project; experience should include information about the firm's experience and projects undertaken; and capacity for performance should identify the number and title of assigned staff. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Bid value is undisclosed.
