Primary Project: Repair and replacement of damaged concrete resulting from underground fuel tank removal, including removal and replacement of a small asphalt strip between the driveway and the street. Alternate Bid 1: Removal and full replacement of the entire parking lot with new reinforced concrete suitable for emergency vehicle parking use. The building is currently undergoing renovation under a separate contract. The successful bidder shall coordinate all scheduling, site access, staging, and sequencing of work directly with the General Contractor (GC) for the renovation project. The parking lot contractor shall not interfere with renovation operations and shall comply with site safety and access requirements established by the GC. The District reserves the right to award the Primary Project, Alternate 1, both, or neither, based on funding and best interest of the District. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, hauling, disposal, compaction, forming, finishing, curing, and incidentals necessary to complete the project. Work includes: - Removal and lawful disposal of existing concrete and asphalt - Subgrade preparation and compaction - Installation of base rock where required - Concrete placement - Jointing and finishing - Restoration of disturbed areas - Coordination with the General Contractor performing building renovations The contractor shall attend coordination meetings if requested and shall provide a project schedule acceptable to both the District and the GC prior to beginning work.
