Sealed bid proposals are requested for additions and alterations at multiple schools for the Freehold Township Board of Education at 384 West Main Street, Freehold, NJ 07728, in accordance with drawings and the project manual together with all incidental work. Bidders must submit a single lump sum bid using and completing all provided bid forms as designated, and must comply with all requirements in the instructions and specifications. Bidders must be classified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in C008 - General Construction or C009 - General Construction/Alteration and Additions. Named subcontractors for Structural Steel, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electric must also be prequalified by DPMC. Each bid must be accompanied by proof of contractor's DPMC classification status, and compliance with state affirmative action and contractor registration laws is required. Bids must be placed in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project name and accompanied by a bid guarantee of 10% of the bid, not to exceed $20,000.
