Site work for a civil project in Longmont, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Reference Number 0000415716 Design of a 3.0 MG elevated water storage tank, associated tank infrastructure, and associated water transmission infrastructure (approximately 10,200' of 12"-18" water distribution pipe). The Town adopted a potable water master plan in February of 2026. This master plan identifies two pressure zones to service the existing Town service boundary. Zone 1 is already serviced by a standpipe style water tank. The first phase CIP defined within the 2026 potable water master plan includes the construction of a 3MG elevated water storage tank for operational redundancy and fire protection storage within Zone 2. The Town has identified the tank site location to be on Central Park due to the optimal hydraulic properties of the site. This RFP pertains to the design of the elevated water tank described above and associated infrastructure. Please note that the Town of Firestone will distribute the Potable Water Master Plan and the exhibits for proposed future tank sites through an addendum following the mandatory pre-proposal meeting.
