Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bloomington, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The City of Bloomington, Illinois is accepting sealed bids for the Sunnyside Park Sustainability Initiative. Reference the scope of work and attachment(s) for full project details. The City requires a project labor agreement for all public works projects estimated in excess of $50,000, unless it is determined such an agreement would not advance the City's interests in cost, efficiency, quality, safety, timeliness, skilled labor force, labor stability, and the policy to advance minority-owned or female-owned businesses, or those utilizing minority and female workers. Terms of any project labor agreement must not exceed the economic standards established by the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and cannot require union membership or fair share payment by contractor's employees. Project labor agreements are not required for contracts for private development activities between the City and developers. Bid must be accompanied by a Bid guaranty which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid. Bid guaranty may be a cashier's check, money order, certified bank check, or a surety bond. All guaranties, except surety bonds, will be deposited and reimbursement checks and surety bonds will be issued to unsuccessful bidders following the bid award. The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price, within ten (10) business days after the bid award.
