Sealed bids are invited for the Bloomington High School South Gym Renovation, which includes renovations to the locker rooms, installation of new athletic lockers, and new restrooms. The bid packages available cover the following areas: Concrete, Masonry, General Trades, Doors, Frames & Hardware, Framing, Drywall, Ceilings, Flooring, Lockers, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical. All questions from bidders must be submitted in writing. New PE and Athletic lockers are added along with ADA lockers and restrooms to both boys and girls locker areas. A new wheelchair lift and stairs are added connecting the intermediate locker level to the gymnasium lower level making it accessible. A new restroom is added to the existing training rooom at the upper wrestling level. The scope also includes interior finish upgrades throughout the project. A new sidewalk is added to the south side of the building connecting the sidewalk adjacent to Locust street to the south entrances making all of them ADA compliant.
