The work of this Contract consists of the supply and installation of materials, including all labour, equipment and tools related to upgrading the Saunders Day Use Area. This opportunity help complete a full refurbishment of the Kikomun Creek Park - Saunders Beach day use area, with a focus on upgrading the accessibiluty of facilities. The components of the work are generally described as follows: Mobilization and demobilization to and from the Project Site, Layout and post construction markups to drawings, environmental management Removal of existing pit toilets and all associated underground infrastructure Removal of existing furniture Removal and abandonment of existing water infrastructure Decommissioning of existing trail section Brushing clearing and grubbing of proposed trail network and common areas around picnic tables Restoration of disturbed areas from clearing, grubbing and grading work Site Directed grading work for furnished areas Reinstating gravel shouldering Installation of 2x bypass trails Installation of new site furniture including: 2x new contractor supplied Panabode Toilets and concrete Vault/lids. Panabode Toilets to be Stained with Proluxe Primary RE Teak 085 two coats 17x new owner supplied picnic tables w/ BBQ stands 17x new owner supplied picnic tables w/ BBQ stands and 8'x10'x6" contractor supplied concrete table pads. 1x contractor supplied Type 3 Information Shelters 2x relocated onsite Waste/recycle receptacles 1x contractor supplied bike rack Signage including: 1x contractor supplied removable traffic stub posts 2x timber sign posts (Contractor supply and installation, Owner supplied signage) Installation of contractor supplied precast parking curbs Dock modifications including extension of 1x 8' x 20' gangway. Line painting including eradicating and re-establishing line paint, stall paint, 2x accessible stalls, and No Parking road marking. Wasa Lake Pit toilet Horseshoe Day Use Removal of existing pit toilet and all associated underground infrastructure 1x new contractor supplied Panabode Toilets and concrete Vault/lids. Panabode Toilet to be Stained with Proluxe Primary RE Teak 085 two coats 1.5m x 2.0m thick asphalt patch c/w subgrade preparation.
