Sealed proposals are requested for the RANGE LINE ROAD BRIDGE NO. 03.81 REPLACEMENT PROJECT. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by the County in a sealed opaque envelope clearly marked with the project name. Each bid must include the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid, evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity, and a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond as required by Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. The Bid Guaranty must be either a certified check, cashiers' check, or letter of credit equal to 10% of the total bid amount, or a Bid bond for 100% of the bid amount, both payable to the Miami County Commissioners. All contractors and subcontractors must use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor as practicable, comply with equal employment opportunity requirements, be prequalified with the Ohio Department of Transportation for the work types involved, and comply with prevailing wage rates for public improvements in Miami County, Ohio. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and award the contract with up to 10% reduction of bid quantity. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. The project must be completed no later than October 30, 2026.
