The City of St. Charles requests bids from qualified companies to provide all labor, materials, equipment and supplies necessary for Lead Service Line Replacement as described within these specifications. The work for this Contract will be within those areas provided in the attached location exhibits. See Appendix C. Reasonable effort has been made to ensure that the bid quantity breakdown sheets are accurate; however, quantities in the breakdown sheets are provided only as a courtesy for bidding and are subject to change by the Owner. Payment for this project will be based on quantities measured in the field upon completion of their construction. All responses must be submitted electronically. Question Deadline 03/27/2026 at 8:00 AM CT Procurement@stcharlesil.gov The project is located within the City of St. Charles, within those areas depicted on the attached location exhibits within Appendix C. Those exhibits marked "Phase 1" are to be the area(s) of primary importance for replacement and shall be addressed first. "Phase 2" denotes areas to be addressed once the "Phase 1" locations have been exhausted. No work shall commence on Phase 2 locations until Phase 1 is fully completed. Should additional areas be necessary to complete the Project and fulfill the Contract, the Contractor shall be responsible for coordinating with the City to determine new areas of focus. These areas may be located anywhere within the City of St. Charles and proximity to the Phase 1 and Phase 2 locations is not assured; awarded bid values will be honored for the additional locations with no additional compensation to be provided.
