Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Hartselle, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.
Sealed proposals, in duplicate, from Qualified General Contractors are requested for a new playground for Barkley Bridge Elementary School. Bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Hartselle City Board of Education in an amount not less than five percent of the proposal, but not more than $10,000. Performance and Payment Bonds and insurance evidence as required in the bid documents are to be provided at contract signing. Prior to the issuance of plans and specifications, contractors must provide evidence of appropriate licensing for the classification of work. Digital drawings and specifications can be viewed and obtained as outlined. Only General Contractor Bidders on the Official Bidders List with digital or hard copies of the documents from the Architect are eligible; bids from those not on the list may not be accepted or opened. Bids must use proposal forms provided in the contract documents. All bidders exceeding amounts set by the Alabama State Licensing Board must have current licensing displayed on the sealed envelope. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive technical errors in the Owner's judgment.
