Question Deadline 03/24/2026 at 11:00 AM ET This is a road paving and resurfacing project for Spartanburg County involving asphalt installation, CMRB applications, traffic control, and utility coordination. The project may require the use of automatic grade control systems, electronic ticketing capabilities, and compliance with SCDOT specifications. Zero unit prices and labor are allowed, but negative unit prices and labor are not allowed. Scope: All roads in Londonderry Subdivision and Caldwell Circle will receive a 2" pre-mill, 8" CMRB Method A, 2" (220Lbs/Syd) Surface Asphalt C, temporary and thermoplastic pavement markings. RFP 2026xxxx Londonderry Subdivision -E-Ticketing for all weighted materials Pavers shall be equipped with automatic grade and slope control systems. -For all curb and gutter areas, a 2" pre-mill will be done to the existing roadway prior to CMRB -CMRB Method A-Single Treatment, to be used on all roads. The Contractor shall insure depth at curb and cross slope prior to paving. Any additional milling done to achieve this will be at the Contractor's expense. Notable Instructions: Caldwell Circle is no-curb and will have a 19' width of CMRB, with an 18' paved surface. Caldwell Circle requires temporary and thermoplastic pavement marking. Caldwell Circle has additional quantity added to the pay item total for the 2" milling square yards for asphalt driveways, as needed. All roads in the contract will be a 8" CMRB with a 2" Surface C placement. Pay Item Notes: 4012060-Full Depth 6" Patching: Used to repair unsuitable subgrade below the CMRB. As needed. 2033000-Borrow Excavation: Used for shoulders. 3059900-Maintenance Stone: Used for driveway access or as needed. 4013120-Mill Existing Asphalt 2": Used for pre-milling existing asphalt in curb and gutter subdivisions. Used for milling driveways and intersections prior to paving, if needed. 1071510-Wrecker Service: Used for towing vehicles within the roadway that are impeding construction.
