The work for this Contract to be performed includes the addition of a 94,000-gallon water storage tank, two high service pumps, required controls, ancillary piping/valves, and generator at the existing Geauga County Services Center water facility located at 12555 Ravenwood Drive in Claridon Township, Geauga County, Ohio. Also included is installation of a new generator at the Geauga County water tower site. The additional storage will provide an emergency water supply (which currently does not exist) if the water tower goes offline and will ensure safe drinking water to a myriad of County offices and agencies. Situated in Claridon Township, Geauga County, Ohio. This project includes the installation of a new 94,000-gallon glass coated bolted steel clearwell, new distribution pumps and associated piping at the existing Geauga County Services Center WTP. Also included is the replacement of existing generators at the treatment plant (180 kW) and water tower site (24 kW). Sealed bids are requested for the Services Center Water Treatment Facility Upgrades - P2103, Department of Water Resources, Geauga County. Bidders must view and obtain plans and specifications through Northeast Blueprint, with a fee required for both hard copies and electronic downloads. Receipts for bid packet purchases must be submitted with the bid. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or guaranty as specified, and envelopes must be sealed and clearly marked with the project name and addressed as directed. The County reserves the right to waive informalities and reject any or all bids or any part thereof. Terms of payment are described in the bid specifications. Bids must comply with state requirements regarding surety and guaranty provisions. Bids will be received at the Board of County Commissioners' designated office location and hours.
