The City of Weyburn is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for water infrastructure replacements, consisting of three parts: Part 1: Water main replacement at one location on Railway Ave (between 10th Street and 13th Street). This includes providing and maintaining temporary overland water service to fifteen properties, replacing approximately 245 meters of 150 mm AC water main and associated infrastructure with 150 mm PVC C-900 water main, reestablishing fifteen service connections, replacing a hydrant tee and lead with PVC C-900 at hydrant #21, and replacing four 45-degree elbows on the watermain. Supply, grading, and compaction of backfill, subbase, and base materials are included. Part 2: Street valve replacement at nine locations within Weyburn. Part 3: Fire hydrant replacement at eight locations within Weyburn. All three parts will be awarded as one project, and the contractor must be able to complete all parts within the outlined schedule milestones. All work is subject to budget constraints; select locations may be deleted from the work scope to remain within budget allotment. Bid submissions must be made online in English.
