Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and road / highway.
The City of Weyburn is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide services for the repair, replacement, or installation of storm infrastructure at various locations within Weyburn, SK. The scope of work shall involve saw cutting concrete and asphalt, removing existing and installation of new catch basin barrel, and reusing the existing frame and cover (unless otherwise indicated) and/or replacement of new 200 mm storm drain set to grade, followed by subbase compaction and repair of concrete gutter/curbing/sidewalk where required. Catch basin barrels must be 900 mm with flat tops and a sump that is 600 mm below the invert of the pipe. In situations where a 900 mm barrel will not work, a 600 mm barrel is to be used with a 900 mm or greater sump below the bottom of the pipe. The storm drain leads must be smooth interior suitable for the depth that it will be installed at. Repair of the storm mains shall involve saw cutting asphalt and repairing the break with contractor supplied material, ensuring pipe is set to grade, followed by subbase and base compaction prepped for asphalt repairs.
