The Marquette County Highway Department is accepting sealed bids for asphalt materials to be used during the 2026 construction season. The materials include HMA/WMA asphalt for various Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) projects and general maintenance. Specific projects and material quantities are listed, including several LRIP town projects and county/town projects. Additionally, there are two major projects involving Cold in Place recycling and milling on CTH P, with specific lengths, widths, core sample data, and requirements for traffic control. The contractor is responsible for keeping the road open with flagging operations. The county reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept those most advantageous. Bidders may be required to provide evidence of qualifications to do this type of work in Wisconsin. Bids will not be accepted from any bidder listed on the Marquette County or State of Wisconsin Disapproved, Suspended, and Debarred Contractors list or the Federal Excluded Parties List.
