The City of Bismarck is seeking sealed bids for the sale of a 48-inch by 48-inch Hydro Gate HG561 Fabricated Stainless Steel Slide Gate. Sealed bids must be submitted to the Public Works Utility Operations office, sealed and endorsed “Bid to Purchase Hydro Gate.” Bids must be submitted on blanks furnished by the City of Bismarck, with forms available at the Public Works Utility Operations office or via email. The equipment may be viewed by appointment only. The right is reserved to hold all bids for forty-five days, reject any and all bids, waive technicalities, or accept bids in the best interest of the City. Special requirements for bidders: 1. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities or accept as may be determined in its best interests. 2. Bids may be rejected for alterations of form, additions not called for, conditional or alternate bids, incomplete bids, irregularities, or if they include a clause reserving the right to accept or reject a contract. Bids with obviously unbalanced prices will also be rejected. 3. The equipment is sold as is, where is, with no warranty of any kind. Bidders are responsible for inspecting the property before submitting a bid. 4. The bidder is responsible for pick-up of the equipment. The City reserves the right to cancel awards if the equipment is not picked up within forty-five days of notification. 5. Bids shall be submitted on the forms furnished by the City. 6. Payment must be received within 30 calendar days of notice of award.
