The City of Ontario is requesting proposals from qualified firms for Lead and Copper Rule Improvement (LCRI) Services. The required services include: validating the City’s lead service line inventory using approved statistical models and performing field inspections where necessary; developing educational material for childcare facilities and elementary and secondary schools; and performing lead sampling at childcare facilities and elementary schools, with the option to sample at secondary schools upon request. The services are to be provided under the direction of the City Manager or designee and are intended to help the City comply with the US EPA's Lead and Copper Rule Improvements. Under CA AB 2370, a qualified lead sampler must be licensed by a certifying organization recognized by the State of California.
