Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Flint, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project has been awarded to LA Construction Corporation in the amount of $1,114,525.32. Start date: June 1, 2026 Replacement and reconfiguration of asphalt parking lot and drives, concrete curb, and concrete sidewalk. Principal items of work include, but are not limited to: 1,272 Ton HMA, 5EML; 791 Ton HMA, 4EML; 4,549 Syd Aggregate Base, 8", 10", 13"; 9,698 Sft Sidewalk, Reinf Conc, 6"; 3,432 Ft Curb and Gutter, Conc, Det B2, F4. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the Owner or any employee of the Bidder and any member of the Board of Education or the Superintendent. Each bid must also be accompanied by a signed statement certifying that the Contractor is not an Iran Linked Business, and a signed Safety Affidavit by the Contractor. The Board of Education will not accept a bid that does not include these signed statements. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the interest of the Owner.
