Site work for a mixed-use development in Clayton, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project involves the installation of a storm sewer system and the construction of channel improvements and a new concrete sidewalk at a location on Clayton Road approximately 200 feet west of the Cella Road intersection. The work includes installing about 180 lineal feet of new 48-inch diameter storm sewer, approximately 140 lineal feet of storm and sanitary sewers ranging from 10 to 27 inches in diameter, a pre-cast concrete junction chamber, removal of existing storm sewers and roughly 137 lineal feet of steel guardrail, removal and replacement of approximately 300 lineal feet of concrete sidewalk and curb including curb ramps, removal and replacement of miscellaneous sections on bituminous pavement, regrading and rock lining approximately 140 lineal feet of open channel, and installing storm and sanitary sewer manholes and inlets. Bidders must submit sealed bids on forms provided, accompanied by a bid surety in the form of a certified check or bid bond for 5% of the bid total. All on-site employees must complete a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program or an approved equivalent, and the successful bidder must execute the City Contract Agreement. Minority Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) are encouraged to submit bids and will be given full opportunity to do so, with no discrimination based on race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin. No partial or incomplete bids will be accepted. Bids should comply with prevailing wage requirements as specified in the bid documents.
