The City of Ladue Public Works Department is soliciting bids for the Clayton Road HAWK Signal Project at Clayton Road, just South of Dwyer Pl. The work includes installation of a new HAWK signal and ADA improvements. Sealed bids will be received in the Public Works Office. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities or deficiencies, negotiate for more favorable terms or prices, award the contract to the most advantageous bid, and investigate the experience and ability of the bidder. Plans and specifications are available from Drexel Technologies for a non-refundable fee. Prevailing wages according to the current Missouri State Department of Labor Relations must be paid. Bids must be accompanied by a bid surety in the form of a certified check or bid bond for 5% of the bid total. All on-site employees must complete a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program, or a similar approved program, within sixty days of beginning work. The successful bidder will be required to execute the City Contract Agreement. The City will ensure that minority Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) will not face discrimination and will have full opportunity to submit bids. Bids must be submitted on the provided forms and signed by an authorized officer. No partial or incomplete bids will be accepted.
