Roof Replacement Location- Golden Age Manor, 400 Walnut Street, Royersford, PA 19468 Bidding documents, plans, specifications, and solicitation details are available online. A Certified Check or Bank Draft, payable to "The Montgomery County Housing Authority," U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond, executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid must be submitted online. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds. The contract is subject to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, requiring that training, employment, and economic opportunities generated by HUD assistance be directed to low- and very low-income persons, particularly those receiving HUD assistance for housing. Minimum salaries and wages set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid. The contractor must ensure non-discrimination in employment. The Montgomery County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding if it is in their interest or advantage. The Work of this Project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following. Detailed requirements of the Work are described in the pertinent specification Sections and/or shown on the Drawings. Roof Replacement at Golden Age Manor: Demolition of existing roofing systems, including built up low sloping roofs and standing seam metal roofs Installation of new EPDM and standing seam metal roof, including rigid insulation, cover board and metal flashing accessories. Installation of all flashing products required for roof top penetrations. Installation of new mechanical curbs and conduit supports. Installation of new centrifugal exhaust fans Replacement of soffit lights LS TOTAL ROOF AREA: +- 12,127 SF, VIF Question Deadline 03/23/2026 at 2:00 PM ET Must submit all questions electronically.
