Reference Number 0000415942 The City of Delta is seeking bids from qualified contractors to replace the water distribution and sanitary sewer lines on Grand Blvd in Delta, CO. Attached to the IFB is a "Statement of Work" for each project outlined as Project A and Project B. Provided within each project outline are the Scope of Work, Key Tasks, Work Plan, Bid Tab, and Project Maps. The City of Delta is seeking bids from qualified contractors to replace approximately 680' of 4" Transite AC water line on Grand Blvd in Delta, Colorado, with 8" C-900 PVC. The project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete construction. The project includes excavation and installation of an 8" water line on Grand Blvd from 3rd St. going approximately 680' to Garnet Ave. All aspects of the project are to follow City of Delta Specifications and Standards. This work includes, but is not limited to, the following key tasks. o Attend pre-construction meeting - project manager and site superintendent must be present o Provide written Project Work Plan o Work will include abandonment of the existing Transite AC waterline o Excavating in a new 8" C900 DR-18 PVC o Connecting new C900 PVC line into existing Transite AC line o Provide minimal disruption to water service o Replacing numerous valves, connecting existing water service lines to the new PVC line o Trenches excavated involving asphalt cuts shall be saw cut with uniform edges. o Refer to the materials list attached to identify materials needed and the brands requested of materials. o Additional material items may be needed to complete the project. o ACM waterline to be handled to State and Federal specifications o Disinfection and Air pressure testing o Contractor is responsible for all utility conflicts o Contractor to provide Compaction Testing per City Standards every 100'. o Provide stormwater plan o Provide dewatering if needed o Must maintain road patch until project is complete - Dust control and sweeping during project o Work will be conducted Monday through Friday, with all streets being reopened to local or residential traffic by 5:00 pm on the days of closures o It will be the Contractor's responsibility to prepare a daily report of the work accomplished to the City's Project Manager on a weekly basis. o Project maps and bid tabs are located in the bid package. o Project shall be completed by July 31, 2026.
