Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Participation Goal: 6% The SDVOB participation goal is separate from and in addition to any MBE/WBE goal. Minimum Number of Required DBE/MBE/WBE Alternates: 1 for each MBE/WBE firm proposed This agreement will provide construction inspection services for a project that will conduct corrective measures to repair damages caused by embankment failures, inadequate drainage, and poor pavement conditions, including shoulder areas and joints. The segment of Route 284 will be repaved from its start at the NY/NJ state line to the intersection with County Route 1, approximately 3.6 miles in length, using an appropriate treatment to be selected during the design phases of the project. A 4' x 4' box culvert at RM 284 8301 1053 is structurally compromised and needs to be replaced. Slope stabilization procedures will also take place at three distinct locations There are guiderail sections along this corridor that have been damaged and need to be replaced. There are sidewalks at certain locations along the segment of Route 284. ADA guidelines must be followed to replace sidewalk ramps. Inspectors may be required to work nights and weekends.
