The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in the specifications for the Hamilton County DPW Treasurer's Office Renovation at 102 County View Drive, Lake Pleasant, NY 12108. Bids must be received in a sealed envelope clearly labeled as specified, by the deadline, and will not be accepted if received late or via facsimile or electronically. Contractors must notify the Engineer to be placed on the official Plan Holder List to receive Addenda and bid correspondence; bids from contractors not on this list will not be accepted. No questions regarding the bid will be accepted within five business days prior to the bid opening. Addenda become part of the contract documents and must be acknowledged as required. Bidders are to promptly notify the engineer of errors or ambiguities within 14 days of bid opening. All bids must include a completed Bid Form, Non-Collusive Bidding and Disbarment Certifications, and Lobbying Certifications. Bids require security of not less than 5% of the bid amount, and the successful bidder must provide Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the accepted bid. Work will be substantially completed by October 31, 2026 and ready for final payment by December 31, 2026. The bid is a unit price bid and bidders may not withdraw their bid within forty-five calendar days after the opening. Hamilton County reserves the right to consider, waive informalities, or reject any or all bids, subject to their final review and approval. Prevailing wage rates apply, and Federal Equal Employment Opportunity provisions are required. There are no DBE or M/WBE goals, and no residential or geographical restrictions apply.
