Reference Number 0000415937 Bid Intent Optional Bid Intent Deadline 03/30/2026 11:00 AM EDT The City of Weslaco ("City") is accepting sealed bids from qualified contractors for a turnkey Manhole Rehabilitation Project consisting of the complete rehabilitation and corrosion protection of twenty-five (25) sanitary sewer manholes located throughout the City of Weslaco. The project includes cleaning, surface preparation, structural repair, leak sealing, bench and invert restoration, installation of composite manhole covers with concrete collars, and application of a corrosion-resistant lining system in accordance with the specifications contained in this bid package. o High-pressure cleaning of all manhole interior surfaces (minimum 3,500 PSI). o Removal of debris, grease, roots, sludge, deteriorated mortar, and loose concrete. o Repair of cracks, voids, and structural deficiencies. o Sealing of active infiltration and leaks (including chemical grouting if required). o Bench and invert reconstruction to restore proper flow. o Installation of cementitious structural liner. o Application of 100% solids epoxy corrosion-resistant coating. o Installation of composite manhole covers with adjustment rings if required. o Construction of 6" x 6" concrete collar around manhole frame. o Proper disposal of debris and waste materials. o Final inspection and acceptance by the City.
